Headquarters

The Simplex headquarters is a 110,000 square foot building on 10 acres in Springfield, Illinois. It houses the Simplex manufacturing plant, warehouse and corporate offices.

Fabrication

The enclosures for Simplex Fuel Supply and Load Bank products are custom manufactured in our factory. In 2009, Simplex invested in a sophisticated laser cutting machine capable of quickly and easily producing components to exact specifications.

Welding

Once the sheet metal for our product enclosures has been fabricated, the product begins to assume its final form in our welding shop.

Paint

Enclosures receive a high-quality, durable and attractive finish in our paint shop. Simplex recently implemented a leading-edge powder coat capability. Together with our existing spray facility, we can provide nearly any finish a customer desires.

Wiring

Simplex products are hand-wired in our factory by skilled technicians. While automation is helpful for many tasks, we've found the highest quality is achieved through individual attention to this exacting work.

Assembly

Once all components have been procured or created, they are brought together and assembled into the finished product.

Testing

All products are thoroughly inspected and tested by Simplex Quality Assurance captains. Customers routinely participate in witness testing in our plant prior to acceptance and shipping. Once a product leaves our plant, it is guaranteed to be Simplex quality!
